Well i just flashed my WRT54GS v5 to the dd-wrt.v23_micro_generic everything went great, and it works!. Change some settings, reboot routher and again asked to set username and password - not expected. Multiple times I set user/pass, reboot - repeat. This is the same version 9-23-2019 dd-wrt I was using before I switched to other firmware so it has worked with this router. Ive a Netgear R7800 Running Kongs DD-WRT v3.0-r37495M kongat (10/28/18). Its been running for a couple of years now with no issues, Ive setup a Minecraft server (MineOS in docker) that can be accessed locally and working however when trying to connect from outside the LAN im just getting timeout errors.

So, while I’ve had some colleagues raise questions about DD-WRT in the past, it’s not like the world is brimming with alternatives. Relatively speaking, I think DD-WRT is safe enough to use. Okay, I I have a Linksys EA8500 with DD-WRT installed. IPv6 is enabled with type set too "DHCPv6 with Prefix Delegation" and prefix length set to 64. I also have Radvd enabled and DHCP6C and DHCP6S disabled. I have an IPv6 assigned to my network and can connect to IPv6 websites.
