Jul 24, 2013 · So far nothing has fixed the issue. I'd assume the Chromecast just broke, but for both devices to break in the exact same way within a few days seems odd. What's more odd is that they work with Netflix through Google Home, so they must be connected to WiFi. I just can't use them to cast Prime, Crave, or Disney+ from my phone. Finally had to dumb down the E4200 by disabling the 5Ghz and then retuning the 2.4Ghz to B only. Chromecast wouldn't connect to 2.4 G or N technologies only B. I found an old Linksys 2.4 wifi and hooked it up for chromecast only. No need in having a dualband router for only 2.4 B. Boo for Chromecast not mentioning this in the product docs.
